Young Nurture welcomes serious, original, and thoughtful work by young researchers aged 18 or below.

We accept research papers, short communications, reviews, perspectives, technical notes, datasets, extended abstracts, field studies, design projects, computational work, and other forms of scholarly writing.

 

Your submission does NOT need to follow one rigid format into a traditional paper category.

Every submission is evaluated on whether the work is honest, clearly explained, supported by evidence, and responsibly presented.

Each year, Young Nurture publishes only 60 research outcomes.

 

This limit allows us to give careful attention to the work we receive and maintain a serious, selective review process.

  1. Who can submit?
    Young Nurture accepts submissions from young researchers aged 18 or below at the time of submission.
     

  2. Do I need to follow a format?
    No. We do not require one rigid manuscript format. Your work should be clear, complete, organised, and easy to evaluate.
     

  3. What types of work are accepted?
    We accept research papers, reviews, short communications, perspectives, technical notes, datasets, extended abstracts, field studies, design projects, computational work, and other serious scholarly submissions.
     

  4. What matters most in the review? 
    Credibility. We look for work that is original, honest, clearly explained, supported by evidence, and responsibly presented.
     

  5. Do I need a mentor?
    No. You may submit independent work. Work completed with a teacher, mentor, school, research programme, or team is also welcome, as long as all support is properly acknowledged.
     

  6. Can there be co-authors?
    Yes. Co-authored work is accepted if every listed author made a meaningful contribution and approves the submission.
     

  7. How selective or difficult is it to get published?
    Young Nurture publishes only 60 research outcomes per year. This allows us to maintain a careful and selective review process.
     

  8. Who reviews the submissions?
    Submissions are reviewed by a selective reviewer community drawn from leading academic institutions, including Harvard University, MIT, the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, and Tsinghua University.
     

  9. What are the possible review outcomes?
    A submission may be accepted, accepted with revisions, returned for revision, or declined.
     

  10. Is there a submission fee?
    No. There is no fee to submit.
     

  11. Is there a publication fee?
    Yes. An article processing charge applies only after acceptance. The normal publication fee is USD 550. Expedited review, when available, is USD 880. No fee is charged unless the work is accepted.
     

  12. Can I use AI tools?
    AI tools may be used responsibly for language improvement, formatting, brainstorming, coding assistance, or explanation support. However, AI must not replace the author’s own research, thinking, analysis, or interpretation. Any AI use must be declared.
     

  13. Can I submit work that is under review elsewhere?
    No. Submissions must not be under review by another journal, conference, or publication at the same time.
     

  14. What should I include in my submission?
    A complete submission should usually include the title, author names, affiliation or school, country, contact email, abstract or summary, main text, references, and any figures, tables, data, acknowledgements, or AI declaration if applicable.
     

  15. Does my paper need to be perfect?
    No. Your work does not need to be perfect. It does need to be honest, clear, original, and credible.
